Story & Screenplay
Crafting the narrative arc and formatting it for production.
From Concept to Story
Once you have a concept (premise), the next step is to flesh it out into a full narrative.
- In the Story tab, click Generate Full Story.
- The AI will write a treatment (a detailed summary) of the episode.
- Review: Read through the story. Does it make sense? Is the pacing right?
- Edit: You can manually rewrite any part of the text.
Converting to Screenplay
StoryBook uses a standard screenplay format (Scene Headings, Action, Dialogue) to structure the video generation.
- Click Convert to Screenplay.
- The AI breaks your story into scenes.
The Screenplay Editor
The editor displays your script scene-by-scene.
- Scene Heading:
INT. OFFICE - DAY - Action: Describes what happens visually.
- Dialogue: What characters say.
[!IMPORTANT] The screenplay is the blueprint for everything that follows. Make sure the Action lines clearly describe what you want to see, and the Dialogue is exactly what you want the characters to say.
Approval
When you are happy with the script, click Approve Screenplay. This locks the script and unlocks the Visuals and Audio tabs.
