Create and manage your cast of characters for consistent AI generation.
The Asset Bible
Your Asset Bible is the foundation of your production. By defining characters upfront, you ensure that StoryBook's AI generates consistent visuals and voices across every episode.
Creating a New Character
- Navigate to Assets → Characters.
- Click New Character.
Key Fields
- Name: The character's full name.
- Description: A physical description used for image generation. Be specific about age, hair, clothes, and distinctive features.
Example: "A gruff detective in his 50s, wearing a beige trench coat, stubble, scar on left cheek."
- Personality: Defines how the AI writes their dialogue (e.g., "Sarcastic, impatient, uses slang").
- Voice: Assign a voice profile for text-to-speech generation.
Reference Images
Upload a high-quality portrait of your character. This serves as the "Face ID" for video generation models, helping them keep the character recognizable in different scenes.
Editing & deleting
Detailed character profiles lead to better storytelling. You can edit a character at any time to refine their description or update their reference image.
[!TIP] Changes to a character will only apply to newly generated content. Existing shots or scenes won't be automatically updated.
